We are looking for Applied Scientist who can expand their NLP and ML knowledge to give customers a delightful experience when listening to their Kindle books.

You will have the opportunity to make an impact to the design, architecture, and implementation of products that span multiple internal Amazon teams to deliver solutions that are customer delighters. This role will have regular interactions with various internal business owners to help prioritize tasks/projects, handling system issues, and managing communication across all stakeholders.

We need you to build state of the art algorithms to support the moderation, video understanding and content classification tasks and support our computer vision, natural language processing, deep learning and advanced machine learning algorithms. We need to solve problems across many cultures and languages and have a huge amount of human-labelled data as well as operations team to generate labels across many languages to help us achieve these goals.
