Position Summary
As the subject matter expert, administer, manage, and extend the functionality of the College's ERP reporting tool. Coordinate, manage, and analyze the College's ERP security needs and design, implement, and administer user account security in several systems. Collaborate with College administrators, system users, and other IT staff, to ensure the security of business systems.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and schedule SQL-based reports from the College's ERP system and reporting tools. Provide report creation, assistance, support, and training on the reporting solution. Ensure scheduled reports run timely
Process and track requests for security access and roles within Colleague. Create position security classes and add/modify/remove security access per user requests or job changes. Complete annual audit of individual access

Manage security roles and end user access within SoftDocs
Manage security roles and end user access within SharePoint
Identify information security risks, compliance and institutional needs and design information security frameworks to ensure only appropriate security access is granted
Manage and update databases using ERP tools, such as Data Orchestrator
Coordinate and facilitate with data stakeholders across the College to analyze, develop, resolve, capture and document issues related to data access and ongoing data hygiene for information stored in the College's information systems
Coordinate security efforts with end-user departments and IT staff throughout the system development life cycle on assigned projects
Resolve issues related to production ERP and peripheral systems
Meet with system end users to discuss changes or improvements to software applications
Analyze, design, develop, maintain, implement, and support new applications, based on requirements received from Information Technology staff and supervisor
Review and analyze requests for enhancements to software systems and processes to determine the impact on existing operations and support
Provide assistance and software application training to the IT staff concerning existing and future support and security of software systems
Maintain application systems and security documentation
Develop and support data interfaces between internal and external systems
Work collaboratively with others (e.g. colleagues, stakeholders, vendors) to accomplish functions and responsibilities
Assume additional duties as assigned by immediate supervisor
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree from a regionally accredited institution in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management or related discipline
Two years' experience developing or supporting software applications in at least one software application
Desired Qualifications:
Two years' experience with Microsoft or other SQL query languages in a database development environment
Experience moving to cloud based/SaaS environments
Exposure to working with AI solutions
Experience in higher education systems development
Experience with the Ellucian Colleague technology stack
Knowledge of hierarchical and relational database processing concepts
Skills and Specifications:
Ability to make decisions that govern the access and system privileges of staff members
Working knowledge of information security design and best practice standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Responsible, curious, self-directed, service and detail-oriented
Ability to work with minimum supervision and direction
Ability to communicate effectively with all members of the MCC community
Ability to operate a keyboard, perform repetitive motions and sit for prolonged periods of time
