Information Systems Senior Manager IT Operations, this role performs avariety of tasks including:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide full life cycle support for code changes in the production environment and development of new extensions to existing platform.

  • Use creative problem solving and critical thinking approaches to trouble shoot challenging data-centric problems.

  • Analyze business requirements and scope of programming tasks.

  • Provide on call support for production environment.

  • Maintain a high proficiency level with system architectures and database system models.

  • Add to a nimble and responsive application development organization.

Required:

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

  • At least 5 years of experience in the IT industry.

  • Strong knowledge of ActiveBatch and/or Axway Secure Transport

  • Deep knowledge of SQL Server (2008 or higher) including ability to analyze complex stored procedures.

  • Extensive experience converting data from a wide variety of systems and file formats

  • Microsoft Development technologies such as C#, VB.NET, TFS and legacy apps in Visual Basic 6.

  • Ability to rapidly assimilate new technologies and communicate effectively with various teams.

  • Skilled in analytics, problem solving, inter-organizational, social, and issue resolution.

  • An ability to work independently in solving business problems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with job scheduling tools.

  • Experience with Managed File Transfer software; DXOP / Axway Secure Transport

  • Experience with VMware / VDI.

  • Experience with BMC Remedy ticketing system.

  • Experience with an insurance company, TPA, or claim processor and a deep understanding on the underlying structure of claims transactions.

Position Summary: This position has primary responsibility to lead a team in managing projects and/or programs to effectively integrate business operations and achieve results for post acquisitions with respect to the accounting functions. The Senior Specialist will focus on leading and executing integration strategies for ensuring a smooth transition of newly acquired entities. Provide analytical leadership and develop systematic work processes, measurement tools and monitoring systems to guide post-integration efforts and for determining effectiveness and success of the post-integration process.
