The Applications Specialist is a "hands-on" position that plans, directs, and carries out customer mold trials, sales demo mold trials, and testing of injection molding machines. As this is a hands-on position, the candidate will spend 80% of their time on the shop floor. Some overnight travel involved.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Setup, adjust and troubleshoot operations of all injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. Setups to include mechanical hookups as well as water, hydraulics and electrical hookups.
Produce data for technical/marketing reports such as: power consumption, linearity testing, machine precision and repeatability, etc.
