MicroVision currently has an opportunity in our Information Technology group for an experienced Information Technologist-Applications.

Base Responsibilities:

  • Direct support to employees, contractors, consultant and customer/partner representatives who engage in support of MicroVision business objectives.

  • Administer MicroVision's portfolio of on premises and cloud applications.

  • Drive integration of Application environment and user adoption.

  • Deploy Applications/services that enhance company productivity

  • Undertake small to medium-sized IT projects as instructed by the IT Manager

  • Provide Microsoft Windows 10 desktop troubleshooting, in person and remote assistance for problems with computer systems, peripheral equipment, operating systems, web browsers, business and clinical applications, and network services.

  • Support users and provide targeted instructions to users to improve their skills in using computer systems and applications.

  • Track, report, and escalate recurring problems.

  • Configure new laptops for deployment with Office 365 and Engineering applications.

  • Responsible for ensuring that security and data integrity standards and processes are established and enforced, network cabling coordination, and perform other preventative maintenance.

  • Must anticipate problems and take preventative action, as well as troubleshoot and solve problems that occur working directly with vendors if required.

  • Application training and the creation of training materials.

Depending on experience, additional duties may include:

  • Enterprise Applications Support: On premise and Cloud based applications, storage-based services, SharePoint, ERP, PLM, PDM, QMS. Web conferencing solutions. Office 365 E5 applications (Power BI, MFA, etc).

  • K2 Cloud Core Business Process Management (BPM)

  • Engineering applications support: Solidworks, Ansys/Ansoft, Orcad, Mathworks, Mathematica, Matlab and network licensed applications.

  • Opportunity to take on additional duties as related to network, server, and security infrastructure.

  • Productivity platforms: Google G-Suite & Microsoft Office365

Required Skills:

  • Technical knowledge of PC/Mac systems, smartphones, software application support and emerging technologies in these areas.

  • Basic application administration

Required Experience:

  • Experience with desktop hardware, peripheral equipment, software applications, operating systems and network connectivity in a dynamic company

  • Prior expertise working in a high-tech environment or technology company with the understanding of unique demands in functional areas like engineering, operations, marketing or corporate services.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Active Directory, and Dell.

  • Must have the ability to interact appropriately with users at all levels (entry level to mid-career to executive)

  • Must have demonstrable ability relative to organization, responsiveness, anticipation of emerging needs, detail in documentation/record keeping, and ability to interact in a professional manner with a high standard of excellence.

VIEW JOBS 12/6/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-06T00:00 Job Description MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: * Supports QMS compliance with the appropriate internal and external regulatory requirements (including but not limited to Site, Division, Corporate, FDA, ISO, MDD, and individual country requirements). * Support Device Tracking, including moving devices within tracking database, supporting audits, and reporting metrics * Engage in the development of optimum future state of QMS for business needs. * Identify improvements and inputs into the quality planning process. * Execute development and/or modification of Stryker's QMS. * Support Management Review and Quality Planning Review and related forums. * Assess and quantify requirements for QMS requirements to optimize structure. * Support GMP and GDP within Quality organization. * Identify and implement improvement opportunities to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the QMS. * Support QMS training development and delivery. * Contribute to the development, maintenance, and improvements of policies and procedures. * Support implementation of best-in-class practices and benchmark against industry leaders and regulatory requirements. * Support notified body communication. * Ensure QMS reflects actual activities, business needs and supports NPD requirement. * Participate in relevant QMS IS discussions. * Basic project management understanding. * Key contributor to QMS business process(es) and understand IS system support requirements. * Support internal and external quality system audits. * Perform other related duties as assigned. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's Degree PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a science, engineering, business or related discipline * Experience in manufacturing environment or equivalent. * Thorough knowledge and understanding of US and International Medical Device Regulations. * Basic knowledge of Quality Systems (CAPA, audits, Management Review, Quality Planning, etc.) * Basic communication and project management skills. * Strong interpersonal skills, written, oral communication and negotiations skills. * Basic analytical and problem-solving capabilities. * Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional team environments. * Computer literacy.
