Three (3) experience in Oracle R12 HR-Payroll and Financials modules, Oracle OAF customization and extensions, and Oracle BPEL/ESB SOA Architecture
Dallas ISD seeks Applications Software Developer working with Oracle R12 HR-Payroll and Financials modules, including Accounts Payable (AP), Purchasing (PO), Fixed Assets (FA), Inventory, Order Management (OM), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Iprocurement, Isupplier, Cash Management, Treasury, using SQL, PLSQL, TOAD, Oracle Forms/Reports and Oracle OAF customization /extensions, Oracle XML/BI Publisher Reports and Bursting , Discoverer reports, Oracle Alerts, Data Loader, UNIX Shell Scripting. Specific duties include the following:
Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs
Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, and/or improve its performance
Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design
Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
Design Oracle BPEL/ESB SOA Architecture components and web services that will allow interfaces between Oracle R12 Payables/Fixed Assets and district vendors
Write computer programs in Oracle Applications environment. Determine how Oracle Apps system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes
Design and develop APEX applications which integrate with Oracle General Ledger and Oracle HR Payroll
Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
Design and customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency
Write custom mobile applications to integrate with Oracle Iexpense, Iprocurement, General Ledger modules
Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces
Identify measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system
Analyze the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one
Integrate third party vendor systems with Oracle Supplier Network for Purchase orders and invoices
Develop, design, and/or create new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products, including artistic contributions
Develop software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation
Develop testing routines and/or procedures
Develop performance metrics or standards related to information technology
Salary minimum: $103,968
Selected individuals for Dallas Independent School District positions will be placed according to compensation guidelines.
