Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Applications Programmer III within the Department of Psychiatry will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining complex clinic-wide software applications, large-scale server design and management, database design and management, website design and management, preparation of cost/benefit analysis of alternative software and hardware solutions, and network/user support for the Neuromodulation Division. You will also be responsible for managing and training all Neuromodulation Division IT staff.
Salary Range: $76200 - $158800/Annually

All Required:
- Strong knowledge of MS SQL, MS Access, Filemaker Pro, queries, functions and stored procedures. Knowledge of Filemaker pro is a plus.
- Experience developing and maintaining code and applications relating to Psychiatry and/or Neuromodulation to help anticipate division needs and address accordingly.
- Demonstrated ability to design and write Object Oriented and modular, reusable, well documented computer programs in C++, C# and VB.NET.
- Expert knowledge of developing web applications & services using ASP.NET and SQL database. Knowledge of IIS & Apache web servers.
- Knowledge of scripting languages: PHP, PERL, VBA, CSS, JavaScript & Ajax
- Working knowledge of web and database design and development, including Apache HTTP server and RealNetworks streaming media server systems.
- Demonstrated ability to comprehend and adapt to rapidly evolving technology.
- Experience in utilizing microcomputers and microcomputer network for data management
- Demonstrated ability to maintain desktop, laptop, workstation, and server hardware and software on both Apple and windows platforms
- Skill in speaking clearly and distinctly to use appropriate vocabulary and grammar to obtain and convey information to individuals at various organizational levels.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationship with other staff members.
- Skill in setting priorities which accurately reflect relative importance of job responsibilities
- Skill in working independently and following through on assignments with minimal direction or supervision.
- Ability to handle confidential material with discretion.
