Wenger is seeking an Applications Engineering Intern to work full-time May through August 2019 alongside a creative and experienced team of Application Engineers and Draftersto supply customers with Wenger products that satisfy their projectspecification. Create submittals, mock-ups, construction drawings and bills ofmaterial across multiple Wenger product lines: full-stage shells, stagingplatforms and pit-fillers, music education cabinetry and athletic lockers toname a few. Utilize current softwareplatforms such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PDM vault, SalesForce.com and variousanalysis programs to complete projects assigned to you and/or a team.

Learnengineering best-practices and processes that will enhance your technicalabilities and improve your career-resume credentials by utilizing suchpractices on real / high-profile projects across the world.

Job Description:

Activitiescan include but are not limited to:

  • Reviewingand redlining project specifications

  • Createproject submittals in AutoCAD and Revit

  • Buildconstruction drawings for Production using SolidWorks

  • Compilebills of material utilizing a PDM vault and ERP system

  • Createand analyze solutions to meet a custom need or specification

  • Becomea contributing team member and learn current engineering workflows

  • Sit-inon daily/weekly project review meetings

  • Furtheryour knowledge about Wenger products and the Performing Arts Industry

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Internsmust be 18-years of age by the start of the summer internship assignment

  • Workingtoward a bachelor's degree in Engineering

  • Insecond year of engineering studies

  • Intermediateto advanced familiarity with AutoCAD and SolidWorks programs

  • Solidwork ethic and a drive to learn engineering practices and product applications
