Job Title: Applications Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an Applications Engineer to join our team. This role involves identifying key pump selection criteria through direct interaction with distributors or end users, determining the major market area of end user or distributor pump application, and referring end users to our established distributor network. The successful candidate will also select application-appropriate products from our entire product line, prepare product quotations from published price lists and product data sheets, and identify major competitor's products and their equivalents. Other responsibilities include identifying key product applications and features, identifying pumped liquid physical properties and matching them with available product materials, and assisting in the development and conduction of product promotional and/or product training programs. An important aspect of the role is participating in continuous improvement and quality efforts to help grow the operation. Hard Skills

• Understanding of fluid engineering, pumps, fluid dynamics

• Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering

• Can be a entry level engineer or someone with a few years of experience

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills
