Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst for its Irving, TX location.

Duties: Architect and serve as liaison between business and technical teams to solve issues.

Participate in architectural design and development of migration of monolithic applications to micro services. Oversee project stages, assess business implications, guide technical staff, and monitor progress. Design and develop flexible, scalable web application.

Implement software components into architecture using latest technologies. Design, develop and modify software systems. Determine system performance standards.

Develop automated testing tools. Remediate Vulnerabilities and Enhance Application Security. Execute Cybersecurity Assessments on internally and externally hosted solutions, including internal multi-tiered environments, third-party hosted (SaaS), and AWS cloud-hybrid hosted solutions.

Design and develop Database using PL/SQL and NoSQL. Administer databases, including security, access, and documentation. Develop testing scenarios/cases to address database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, boundary/negative testing, and usability.

Collaborate cross-functionally in developing and testing technical solutions. Provide technical support and work with users globally to upkeep critical business models validated and maintained around the clock. Perform client/business needs analysis and develop written requirements to ensure successful implementation and delivery of solutions and software product. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policy.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation.

Employer will accept a Master's degree in an above stated field of study in meeting the Bachelor's degree requirement. Employer will accept pre- or post- Master's degree experience. Five (5) years of experience must include:

Delivering multi-tier applications leveraging frameworks including Core Java, Spring, Hibernate, Data structures, and Design patterns of Object-Oriented programming language; End-to-end systems architecture using Front End (Angular, Ext, OpenShift ECS, or AWS) and Backend (Oracle, Technology Stack -JAVA, Spring Boot, or Hibernate); Migration of whole monolithic application to component based distributed micro service-based application; Analyzing system limitations and improving performance using JProfile meter and IBM WebSphere UI tool; Troubleshooting and configuration management using IBM WebSphere Application Server and IBM WebSphere Web Server Administrative UI tools; Data transfer between upstream and downstream applications through Single Sign On CyberArk, IAM Identity and Access Management, and Cloud Based Interfaces; Remediation of vulnerabilities in the application as identified by tools such Blackduck, Sonar Qube and others; and Maintaining data quality controls required by reporting team(s) for predictive and advanced Analytics. 40 hrs./wk.
