SAIC is seeking candidates to support integration of diverse planning and analytics applications across Joint Combatant Commands, Services and Agencies (C/S/A). We are pursuing an exciting opportunity to help modernize, consolidate and coordinate the integration of disparate platforms used by multiple DoD and federal agencies used in military cyberspace operations. We will need to integrate and modernize existing stove-piped systems and applications by migrating them to a cyber-factory in a private cloud in a planned and efficient manner to provide increased capabilities and reliability while simultaneously supporting ongoing cyber space operations. This multi-year opportunity provides a skilled candidate with the opportunity to hone their craft while working in an exciting, diverse and fast-paced environment on the cutting edge of Cyber.

As a developer for the System or Integration team, the primary focus for this position will be in support of the Lead Software Developer while together, you stand-up of a cloud-based Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery DevOps automated pipeline. The candidate will have strong technical skills in the design and development of a build to test solution for agile development teams. You will provide expertise and be a key contributor to the implementation of automated development tooling to include build, workflow, white box testing, black box testing, security scanning and deployment. Tasks will include continuous integration and delivery infrastructure, CI best practices, building the CI pipeline, creating a test automation framework and supporting other development teams in use of the development infrastructure.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Operate as a key member on a SAFe System Team

  • Develop continuous integration, deployment, and test automation platform capability

  • Assess and evaluate COTS automation tools for development, test and deployment

  • Integrate selected tools into DevOps pipeline

  • Deploy and configure tools in the cloud

  • Train and support agile development teams in use of pipeline tools and in configuration of services.

  • Mentor junior developers



  • Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and 0 years related experience


  • An active DoD Top Secret with SCI eligibility is preferred; however, applicants with active DoD Secret clearances are encouraged to apply.

  • Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Top Secret with SCI Eligibility

  • Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: Top Secret/SCI


  • Bachelors and two (2) years or more of related experience; Masters and 0 years of experience.

  • Three (3) year or more of DevOps experience, including automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment

  • 3+ years developing automated tests for SOA services

  • experience with development workflow tools (e.g., Jenkins)

  • 3+ years experience in modern programming (e.g., Java, Javascript)

  • Experience architecting and developing microservices using containers, such as Docker, and orchestrated container deployment with a tool such as Kubernetes.

  • 3+ years experience with automated deployments (e.g., Openshift, Ansible)

  • Three (3) years or more of Agile Development Experience

  • Experience leading large, complex software development, integration, and sustainment efforts

  • three (3) years or more of recent experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOAs) and the integration of services from 3rd party service developers

  • Three (3) years or more of recent experience designing and developing APIs and SDKs


  • SAFe 4.5 certification(s)
  • Three (3) years or more of Cloud experience
