Centurion is proud to be a leading provider of comprehensive healthcare services to correctional facilities, state hospitals, and community mental health centers nationwide.

We are currently seeking an Applications Developer to join our Corporate team located in Tysons Corner/Vienna, Virginia.

Responsibilities

The Applications Developer will be responsible for developing and supporting software, reporting and database solutions using sound, repeatable and industry best practices. The Developer will write custom code, T-SQL queries or utilize out of the box components based on business requirements and system specifications. Development activities will include updating existing software/system deployments and/or developing new collaboration solutions to address a specific need or solve a particular business problem.

Additional duties include:

  • Develop (via custom code or SharePoint out of the box applications) business applications and systems with SharePoint

  • Develop and support of database applications, SSIS packages and reports with Crystal Reports or SSRS

  • Work closely with the management on new project and other company initiatives

  • Provide timely and effective maintenance support and problem resolution for existing application and database systems

  • Perform impact assessment on all systems/application changes as needed; follow appropriate change management and control procedures

  • Maintain documentation of production problems and their solutions

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline preferred

  • Must maintain confidentiality and exhibit a professional demeanor

  • 4+ years' experience in custom web and database application development

  • 4+ years' hands-on experience with SQL Server, Crystal Reports SSIS, complex T-SQL queries

  • 4+ years' hands on experience in building custom SharePoint 2010/2013/2016 solutions, SharePoint object model development and PowerShell scripting

  • 4+ years' hands on experience in jQuery, React or another JavaScript framework

  • Experience with Nintex Workflows and Forms, a plus

  • Experience using project and bug tracking tools, a plus

  • Experience with SharePoint administration, a plus

  • Ability to do technical and business documentation

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize across various tasks and cope with changes in daily workload

  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel
