The Applications Business Analyst works with a variety of technical and functional partners within the business to define requirements for application development, develops required documentation and communicates status in order to ensure business requirements are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements under general supervision.
Develops or modifies moderately complex information systems.
Guides and advises less-experienced Business Analysts.
Analyzes business processes, identifies process deficiencies, researches solutions and plans and coordinates the remediation of these deficiencies.
Assist with the design and implementation of operational and system enhancements to ensure production capabilities are both effective and efficient.
As appropriate, writes and validates business requirements and conducts system tests.
2 or more years related experience required
Insurance Industry experience strongly desired
U.S. Eligibility Requirements:
18 years of age or older.
Willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
