Applications Architect IV

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

• Tyonek Native Corporation is seeking an experienced Applications Architect IV to join our Information Technology team. In this role, the successful candidate will support our internal development of web-based and mobile applications aimed at improving corporate- and program-level management of finances, performance metrics, and automated and semi-automated data processes. The candidate will work with other developers on the IT team, as well as stakeholders throughout the company, to deliver tools that help our employees be more efficient and productive.

DUTIES

• Lead and/or assist with the design, development, and testing of web-based and mobile-based applications intended for use by company employees.

• Maintain and troubleshoot existing code bases as issues and new requirements arise.

• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the company on new and evolving software initiatives.

• Research and develop new ways to integrate existing IT systems and infrastructure.

• Maintain documentation and training resources related to internal software systems.

• Must be willing to travel to Madison, Alabama office on occasion.

• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, and a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in software development. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

• Proficiency in programming in C# and/or the Microsoft .NET environment in general.

• Proficiency with SQL, including stored procedure design and maintenance.

• Proficiency with Javascript, JQuery, and browser frameworks such as React, Angular, etc.

• Proficiency with web-based application development, targeted at both browsers and mobile platforms.

• Experience with Deltek-branded software, particularly Costpoint and Time & Expense.

• Experience developing against third-party APIs.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Works in a normal office environment with controlled temperature and lighting conditions.
