Description of Work
The primary purpose of this position is to provide business analysis, system analysis, programming, and production support to complex systems within the organizational unit. The role of this position may include, but is not limited to: leading or participating in requirement gathering sessions, developing requirements, designing new complex programs, analyzing and modifying existing programs, debugging multifaceted programs, performing system administration/configuration, writing specifications, leading or participating in code review, writing test plans and conducting testing; producing deliverables for all phases of the software development lifecycle from functional requirements through final implementation; providing production application support; participating in effort planning with clients, technical leads, and organizational unit management; conducting planning sessions with clients for specific modifications and enhancements to intricate applications; status reporting; monitoring work efforts for quality assurance; ensuring adherence to procedures; and performing advanced application assessment and performance monitoring in order to identify and correct avoidable production interruption. This position will provide project and task status to the IS Director and also work in coordination with the Networking and Service Desk Team to resolve issues and develop solutions. In addition, all members of the JIRDC IS team are responsible for assisting the facility and staff in complying with the HIPAA Security policies and Security Standards.
Additional duties include but are not limited to: test application code; troubleshoot problems reported by users; write and maintain system workflows based on user requirements; write technical documentation; maintain knowledge of emerging development techniques.

Recruitment range: $56,339.00 - $86,776.00

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies
To receive credit for all of your work history and credentials, you must list the information on the application form. Documented experience in software programming
Experience with application systems development and deployment
Considerable knowledge of database theory and database administration (SQL)
Functional knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Services (AD).
Experience with intranet or internal web application development
Communicate effectively in oral and written form.
Set and meet deadlines for deliverables based on user expectations, policies and guidelines.
Minimum of 5 years' experience programming in .NET (VB, C#, ASP, JAVA), relational database (SQL Server 2012-2014).
Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and features (IIS).
Some knowledge and/or experience in healthcare environment.
Good organizational and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to complete work on time and with only general supervision
Ability to learn new software systems and programming languages.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, math, or Engineering or related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience in business application consulting or development; or
Bachelor's degree and some computer coursework from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience in business application consulting or development; or
Associate's degree in Computer Programming from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience in application consulting or development; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Degrees must be from appropriately accredited colleges or universities.
