We have an immediate opening for a Digital Technology (DT) SAP Applications Analyst located at our global headquarters in Allentown, PA (Lehigh Valley, PA).

The DT SAP Applications Analyst is responsible for requirements definition, application analysis and functional design of new solutions as well as on performing operational system support within the Distribution side of SAP SD. You will be a member of the global Digital Technology Team supporting the distribution side of the business. We are looking for someone who is passionate about driving sustainable operational excellence in the delivery of new application enhancements and maintaining existing services.

As the DT SAP Applications Analyst, you will:

  • Provide technical direction in the analysis, design, configuration, testing, deployment, maintenance for bug fixes and enhancements related to the SAP Distribution side of SD and solutions that support the enterprise logistics functions.

  • Design and build new value-added solutions:

  • Gathering and documenting business requirements

  • Creating functional specification/user stories

  • Requirements Management & Communications

  • Solution Assessment & Validation

  • Creating testing strategies

  • Work with the Change and Release Management team to ensure representation and coordination of projects throughout the change and release process.

  • Work closely with Project Managers to ensure successful completion of project deliverables/milestones

  • Actively participate in design discussions and program functional reviews.

  • Maintain existing services, resolve incidents and problem management, and meet SLAs, and provide rotational on-call coverage.

As the DT SAP Applications Analyst, you already have:

  • Minimum of 3 year's configuration/integration experience in the SAP SD space

  • In depth knowledge of supply chains within SAP: replenishment, retail sales, customer deliveries, bulk deliveries, and helium deliveries.

  • Working knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules and non-SAP systems

  • Experience with global implementations

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with SAP or Non SAP Transportation Solutions is beneficial

  • Experience with SAP S4HANA is beneficial but not required
