NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Application Tester to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).


  • Bachelor's Degree with an advanced degree preferred
  • 5 Yrs. Minimum Experience in IT with focus on Functional Testing, System testing, requirements validation, test automation

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Interact with the business stakeholders to independently validate the requirements

  • Identify gaps in implementation in relation to the requirements, test the application and track the issues to closure

  • Automate the test cases using client approved toolsets

  • Identify regression test suite and create regression test packages

  • Create and maintain Requirements Traceability Document

  • Assist Test Manager in preparing key metrics about application health and defect status on a daily basis

  • Create mock data, bulk data and mock workflows to test the application for functionality and performance

  • Support in preparing end user training materials

Required Skills include:

  • In-depth experience in business requirements understanding with extensive experience in functional testing, creating test cases, test lifecycle management

  • Experience in automation of test cases using Cucumber and other such client approved tools / packages

  • Experience in defect management tools such as JIRA

  • Ability to contribute to end user documentation including training materials

  • Ability to work well with the team and create a conducive atmosphere

  • Experience in working in Agile projects

Desired Skills:

  • Expertise / Knowledge of Parole Management / Prisoner Management

  • Experience in SQL and T-SQL / PL/SQL

Technical Specifications:

  • Ability to write functional test cases and test the application
