Application Support Specialist

Piper Companies is looking for an Application Support Specialist to join a consulting firm serving clients in a variety of industries including petrochemical companies. This is a full-time position and fully onsite in New Castle, DE.

Essential Duties of the Application Support Specialist:

• Responsible for provisioning, deployment, troubleshooting, support, upgrading, and migration of a diverse variety of computer applications, encompassing a wide range of business purposes and underlying technologies.

• Functions as a Level 2/3 support resource.

• Ability to research and understand functions of a wide variety of applications, including business purposes and interactions with dependencies on other systems.

• Ability to perform detailed log analysis.

• Ability to troubleshoot application-hardware interactions.

Qualifications of the Application Support Specialist:

• B.S. and 5 years of experience or 7+ years of experience in lieu of degree.

• Required: PowerShell/scripting, tier II/III support, and Window Server experience.

• Strong Microsoft Desktop and Microsoft Office experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related degree is preferred.

Compensation for the Application Support Specialist:

• $90,000 - $110,000 (based on experience)
