The primary focus of this person will to develop scripting/automation that will be tied into the Monitoring tools and/or the automation framework. As such, this person should be fluent in scripting skills such as Python, Ruby and JSON.


  • Use technology infrastructure and operational processes to enable a more effective incident response process

  • Design and implement appropriate monitoring solutions for applications we support, with the goal of enabling more efficient production support

  • Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions on AWS

  • Stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community

  • Encourage innovation, implement solutions with cutting-edge technologies, promote outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity

  • Work with Product Owners and Partner teams to understand desired application availability/performance capabilities and validation testing scenarios

  • Continuously influence improved software engineering practices


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience

  • At least 2 years of experience working with Python, Ruby and JSON

  • 2 years of experience with ITIL problem management and incident management processes

  • At least 2 years of experience with AWS

We are looking to hire an Application Specialist – Depot Specialist to provide technical / hardware imaging, repair, and logistics support in a large, complex and exciting enterprise Plano, Texas. Role Responsibilities: * Provide remote support to the various customers who call into the Depot * As a member of the Depot team, this role will be the primary resource to help ensure that the Depot deliverables related to hardware requests, repairs, inventory management, shipping / receiving, and projects that are managed by other Project Managers and work with the other support group to troubleshoot and look for areas of improvement proactively * Role will also perform remote functions (software installs, remote diagnostics, system assessment) * This role will help ensure that the team / account goals and objectives are followed and will assist leadership with overall team's performance Basic Requirements: * 3 to 5 years of experience with Break/Fix repairs, Asset Management, Inventory Management, Hardware preparation, Shipping / receiving * Ensure adherence to team processes, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and responsibilities are followed * Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, provide technical guidance in activities associated with the identification, prioritization, and resolution of hardware, printer, network connectivity, Citrix, and clinical application issues reported via telephone * Partnering with third-party vendors and technicians to obtain results to complex technical issues * Work closely with clinical application subject matter experts to resolve end user issues –Hardware warranty and support partner with technicians and third-party vendors to obtain results to complex technical issues * Help others deliver results within defined timelines * Perform quality audits and associated reporting * Participate with leaders to determine focus areas for team's technical improvement * Coach/mentor less experienced agents * Configure, migrate, and install desktops * Candidate must be self-motivated and willing to work with other team member to meet the customer demands * Ensures that documentation related to team's functions are documented, updated, and maintained on a regular basis * Works with the larger team to help with knowledge transfer and service delivery improvements * Ability to multitask in a demanding, fast paced environment This position is only available to those interested in direct staff employment opportunities with NTT DATA, Inc. or its subsidiaries.
