Application Support Engineer

State Credit Union is currently accepting applicants for the position of Application Support Engineer within our Technology Systems and Services Department. The Application Support Engineer will work with us to provide L2 support, maintain, and upgrade our core line of business applications. Duties of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Performs installation, upgrades, maintenance, troubleshooting, and administration of server and web-based applications.

• Develop and manage detailed testing plans for application updates.

• Communication with staff to understand technological needs and provide strategic solutions.

• Experience using PL/SQL to interact with Oracle Databases.

• Experience with using PowerShell to administer Microsoft systems.

• Create and maintain concise and relevant systems documentation.

• Troubleshoot production system issues as required.

Minimum Requirements Include:

Applicants must have a proven track record of excellent customer service. Bachelor's degree in related computer technology area or equivalent education and experience is required. Applicable industry certifications are preferred, seven years' work experience in related field and advanced knowledge of pertinent systems, hardware, and software are required.
