Application Support Analyst

About The Role:

The Application Support Analyst role will provide world-class technical and business process support to end users of Red Technologies' external-facing proprietary applications, along with acting as the subject matter expert for these applications internally within Spot Inc. They will be responsible for responding to, documenting, and resolving customer care tickets in a timely manner. The application support analyst must have excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose, evaluate, and resolve complex problem solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Act as Subject Matter Expert for TMS & Red Trucks internally for Spot Inc employees and externally for current and prospective customers

• Responsible for the resolution and response of support requests submitted internally or externally related to Spot's carrier and driver-facing portals

• Work closely with the product and development teams to resolve bugs

• Facilitate external application smoke testing

• Work closely with training department to develop documentation around processes and enhancements

• Identify any systematic patterns which may require more generalized support actions

Qualifications:

• 4-5+ years working in the logistics industry (carrier, broker, shipper)

• Experience working in a support environment using a ticketing system

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with an excellent attention to detail

• Ability to effectively troubleshoot technical issues, analyze complex problems, and formulate alternative approaches.

• Experience with software QA a plus

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
