SUMMARY:

Perform a data custodian role for all applications assigned and interface with the business line's identified liaison to perform all duties associated with System Development Lifecycle. This position will be responsible for understanding all functions of his/her assigned application(s) and how these functions can assist the business line, researching changes in new releases, working with the business line liaison to implement new changes, and documenting any system or software configuration changes.

LOCATION:

Consideration for location will be Wheeling, WV and Frankfort, KY.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Understand all functions of assigned applications and how these functions can assist the business line through automation and new process development.

Configure all software settings and functions of assigned applications.

Perform software/application troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose problems.

Act as a support liaison with the vendor.

Ensure data integrity of data that is stored in the assigned application data repository (database, flat files, etc.)

Assure all applications that are assigned are at the most recent release required to maintain vendor support and to allow the functions required by the business line.

Manage and apply software updates working with Systems Engineering team.

Understand database structure and support database mapping efforts for any interfaces to outside systems.

Monitor proper use of system to limit process breakdowns associated with the application.

Work with business lines to ensure all features available in the application are understood and their use mutually agreed upon.

Provide advance level support for IT Help Desk personnel.

Monitor system release notifications from assigned application vendors to watch for critical system patches and/or software updates.

Catalog and report on system issues and identify current status of each issue.

Document new functions of software for handoff to the business line liaison to allow them to train the business line.

Hold scheduled meetings with the business line liaison to assure alignment of Information Technology with the needs of the business line. Consider additional applications or processes outside of the application that could assist with the automation of department procedures.

Work with the Information Technology Service Operations Manager to meet defined SLAs agreed upon with the business line.

Assist with any interfaces, real time or batch oriented, with outside systems. Understand data mapping and work with the Information Technology Service Design Manager and team to verify changes are mutually agreed upon by the Data Officer and Service Design team.

Strong documentation skills using Microsoft Office Suite including Visio.

Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new applications and environments.

Ability to efficiently manage assigned workload in a timely manner.

Ability to work under pressure.

Ability to troubleshoot application issues and communicate issues with IT Help Desk and business lines.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.

Familiarity with databases and web applications.

Availability for on-call support some evenings/weekends.

Willingness to respond to emergencies and work additional hours when needed.

Two to three years of experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
