Application Support Analyst
Direct Hire - Houston, TX 77019
The application support analyst will be responsible for maintaining web and desktop applications, SQL administration, and BI reporting.
Provide comprehensive front-line support of applications ensuring best practice is applied to system support, upgrades, testing, and procedures.
Diagnose and resolve day-to-day live system issues in custom application code, custom interfaces, database data and code.
Application database management, software installation/patch management, data import/export and system integration, custom report creation and support and general system administration.
Candidate must have good business acumen to assist in project initiatives involving developing and building new requirements as needed
Must be able to develop web applications and know how to program in a C base language (preference C#)
SQL service experience to assist in creating databases, maintaining tables, or writing stored procedures and must be able to select, modify, update, or delete
Experience with Salesforce or APIs nice to have
Ability to work with minimal direction on multiple tasks
Candidates have typically obtained a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Strong critical thinking and analysis, meeting facilitation, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions skills
