THE OPPORTUNITY:

As an Application Support Analyst, you are responsible for system administration support of assigned applications and for testing applications in all phases of the development life cycle.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

On any given day, you will:

• Work with other members within Information Technology to ensure complete and timely resolution of customer questions and issues, and to complete any necessary follow-up on resolution

• Perform upgrades, patches, and migrations; provides Job setup, scheduling and log file cleanup

• Provide functional support to super users and Technology Services staff in each office location

• Identify, implement, execute and maintain test plans for developed and off-the-shelf systems

• Verify the existence of defects and their resolution

• Participate in disaster recovery planning and tests

• Ensure adequate documentation of all strategies, processes, and procedures related to the implementation and support of the environment

• Provide back-up administration and support for the Firm's remote access and software deployment systems

• Provide functional support to super users and Information Management staff in each office location; provides front-end training for technical support staff

YOU HAVE:

• A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

• 3-4 years of experience working applications in a medium to large scale environment

• Ability to troubleshoot complex data-related issues, develop alternatives, and choose the alternative that best meets the business objectives

• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

• Knowledge of scripting and database technologies

• Expert level analytical skills

• Ability to prepare instructions for correct installation of applications

• Ability to prepare systems and program documentation with the use of flow charts and narration; ability to test data and debug programs
