Job Introduction

This role is responsible for making outbound calls to potential customers who have completed applications with us. The goal will be to affirm the application and determine if the customer has any questions regarding the application itself, delivery of cards, etc. Additionally, the Applications Specialist will be responsible for upselling other products/services as applicable.

Role Responsibility

  • Obtain complete and accurate customer contact information and other details as necessary

  • Determine what information, if any, might be missing in the application and prepare to gather in initial call back to the customer

  • Understand the extent of what the customer applied for so can accurately affirm the application with customer

  • During call, assess customer needs in order to provide beneficial recommendations for additional products (upselling)

  • Enter all information in customer prospect database

  • Evaluate prospects to determine their potential

  • Complete presentation of appropriate products/programs to potential customers

  • Affirm customer's purchase decision and further establish value proposition

  • Desire to start a career in sales

  • Ability and desire to be on the phones

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Technically savvy with experience in using a CRM or an aptitude to learn Salesforce

  • Attention to detail

  • Problem solving and trouble-shooting skills

  • Strong customer-focus competency

  • Drive for results with an ability to persuade and influence

  • High school degree or GED required; Associates or Bachelor's degree desired

The right candidate will be detail oriented with data entry excellence, and advanced organizational and presentation skills. They should possess the ability to develop and deliver various medium of training materials, programs and presentations for both on-site and recorded. The right candidate can organize user feedback from trainings and effectively communicate to project leadership. Training coordination experience with ServiceNow implementations is desired. Training coordination experience with CMMS or HTM implementations a plus. Candidate must possess ability to travel domestically during the deployment. Position Summary Serves as a Project Leader on a variety of assigned projects. Some projects are directly related to the full deployment of the applications at the unit level, and some indirectly support the efforts of the Inventory and Training team objectives. Serves as a seasoned specialist in the data collection (Inventory), database creation, Provides first-level program support and training. Basic technical competencies are also required of this position. Computerized Maintenance Management Services (CMMS) applications consulting, support, and training objectives. The CMMS application assists with planning preventive maintenance scheduling and ad hoc service requests. Performs Inventory Services for database creation for the purpose of deploying the company approved CMMS software. Identifies locations, assets, contact information and other associated data collection for database creation. Performs quality assurance and testing. Converts data from old CMMS systems to current CMMS applications. Reviews existing databases to ensure compliance with standardized facilities management practices as dictated by Sodexo standards.
