Application Security North American Brand Sales Specialist
In this role you will work with Application Security Sales, Development, Product Offering, Professional Services and the Technical community to ensure Application Security opportunities met key client criteria. You will work with the extended sales and development teams in ensuring win plans and incremental milestones are met in a timely and successful manner. You will track, manage and be lead facilitator, proactively engaging all key stakeholders as required to progress the opportunity. Finally, you will provide SME Level Application leadership to the various Sales teams by resolving issues, providing guidance and best practices, as well as removing roadblocks which could keep the opportunity from closing due to functional or technical issues. Serve as an advocate to IBM Application Security solution set.
A strong desire and demonstrated capabilities to be a key leader within the IBM Security organization.
Motivation to develop the skills necessary to become a recognized IBM thought leader in the Application Security domain.
Application Security experience around programming models and languages as well as a fundamental understanding of DAST, SAST, IAST & Mobile Scanning.
Application Security Domain knowledge including security vulnerabilities, remediation techniques, and industry standards/best practices.
Generalized understand of the Software Development lifecycle.
A demonstrated understanding and interest of application security threats and secure application coding practices.
Strong organization and project management skills capable of integrating key development and technical resources as appropriate.
DevOps experience positioning core use case drivers through automation.
Understanding of various deployment models and build environments for Application Security Testing.
Experience working with software sales, account teams, and customers with a demonstrated ability to develop positive customer relationships.
Team player able to work under pressure and with a wide array of responsibilities, execution demands and sales driver implementations.
Strong attention to client value through systematic standardization techniques for Application Security.
Advanced sales skills regarding complex deal structures.
Ability to conduct enablement and implement Sales Plays.
Strong communication skills.
