What you'll be doing...

You will be responsible for demonstrating an understanding of cybersecurity, networking traffic analysis, HTML traffic analysis, fraud detection, threat hunting, F5 Big-IP, and WAF security policies, and configuring/managing F5 ASM appliances. You will heavily interact with numerous business area/business unit representatives, and ensure adherence to the highest standards of ethics and professional conduct.

  • Analyzing application layer 7 traffic flows for integration with Big-IP.

  • Making recommended code changes to ensure interoperability with the WAF.

  • Writing ASM policies to support blocking of OWAP TOP 10 attack vectors along with published vendor CVEs.

  • Setting up new ASM policies in learning mode and updating policies with recommended changes.

  • Using Splunk for the analysis of event logs to take action or update policies as required.

  • Working a flexible schedule.

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • System administration experience with F5 Big-IP ASM Web Application Firewall.

Even better if you have:

  • Master's degree in Cybersecurity.

  • System administration experience with F5 Big-IP version 13, or any F5 platform.

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GIAC, or equivalent.

  • Strong understanding of the HTTP protocol and the OWASP Top 10.

  • System Administration experience with various application server technologies (IIS/Apache Tomcat/Weblogic).

  • DB and Web hardening experience.

  • Penetration testing experience.

  • Web service scanning/fuzzing experience.

  • Splunk or ELK experience.

  • Information Security related background.

  • Web development background with experience in one or more of these technologies: Java, .NET, REST, PHP, RUBY, HTML5, AJAX.

  • Familiarity with security testing tools and methodologies, networking and knowledge of numerous operating systems (OS) and web platforms.

  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to efficiently manage priorities and deliverables and work well within a team environment.

This position requires experience in performance tuning JIRA DC and Confluence DC on AWS infrastructure. You will demonstrate your working knowledge of customizing enterprise JIRA and Confluence DC instances. * Experience in reducing JIRA configuration objects for a JIRA instance with over 20K users. * Evaluate new JIRA add-on for large-scale JIRA instance. * Develop solutions to identify configuration objects, issues, database tables, and add-ons that cause performance problems in JIRA. * Development, delivery and structured roll-out of additions and enhancements to Agile artifacts in JIRA to help teams. It requires a commitment to constant improvement and a focus on organizational relationships and how they interact with our toolchain to create efficiencies or slowdowns. * Envision of "what's next" through responsible and creative experimentation with our toolchain, including on-boarding of add-ons and connections to our other infrastructure. * Review monitoring and set up KPIs and alerts for various services. * Single point of contact for site reliability and uptime maintenance. * Advise product owners on policies and strategies that will maintain the long-term health of a JIRA instance that is growing at 200K new issues per month. * Establish and enforce JIRA governance policies. Even better if you have: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or relevant technology degree. * Three or more years of Performance tuning enterprise Atlassian Data center applications. * Experience in application performance monitoring tools like NEW RELIC, Dynatrace, Willy,Splunk etc. * AWS Certified Architect - Associate. * Two or more years of experience administering JIRA at the large organization scale, including configuring/implementing JIRA add-ons and troubleshooting the Atlassian software stack. * Ability to manage multiple requests from various stakeholders and negotiate priorities accordingly. * Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Knowledge of Agile Methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban) and management of JIRA artifacts to support Agile, ideally experience with teams adopting/transitioning to JIRA. * DB Experience (PostgreSQL preferred). * Experience with GC Tuning. * Experience with Heap Dump and Thread Dump analysis. * Experience in operating on a command line in Linux. * Experience in parsing Atlassian logs. * Experience with Datadog, Dynatrace, and Splunk. * Experience in Scripting (Python, Perl, Node) and Automation (Groovy, SIL).
