Application Security Architect
OVERVIEW AND REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
The Security Architect will be responsible for developing, architecting and implementing security solutions at an enterprise level for WageWorks. This includes establishing a formal information security framework, strategic roadmaps, as well as managing/overseeing projects to implement solutions to support the corporate security and technology strategy and ensure solutions work with our defense in depth program, as well as our application and technology portfolio. The Security Architect provides oversight to project based staff including employees/contractors, and provides on-site leadership to ensure that project objectives are achieved and project deadlines are met.

Develop, document, manage and implement an Enterprise wide Security Framework, Strategy and Roadmap, that outlines and defines the tactical, operational and strategic plan for security across WageWorks. 2. Perform as a technical leader for technology and security projects including employees, vendors and contract staff. 3. An initial project focus on architecting and implementing Privileged Access Management tools and Data Loss Prevention solutions. 4.
Recommending improvements, corrections, remediation or requirements for associated projects, existing technologies and vendor supported solutions. 5. Create and maintain relevant documentation as may be required by the customer from time to time. 6. Develop strong partnerships with our customers, software vendors and other technical and industry resources. 7.
Establish privileged access monitoring controls for identifying and mitigating Information security risks associated with access rights. 8. Other related duties as assigned.
Other combinations of education, experience, or training that may be considered in substitution for the minimum requirements: A relevant combination of education and work experience, as described in above, may be substituted on a year for year basis.
Preferred education and/or experience: Experience working in cross-departmental teams and leading efforts through collaboration and influence.
Experience with NIST, HIPAA, SOX and PCI requirements
Knowledge Ability to lead and work cooperatively in a team environment
Project management and facilitation skills to establish project goals and objectives
Ability to identify project risks and gaps and develop creative and workable solutions to complex problems and policy issues
Analytical and organizational skills and the ability to gather, assemble, correlate, and analyze facts, and propose solutions to problems Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and provide direction and oversight
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to articulate technical security terms to non-technical audiences verbally and in writing
Highly motivated individual who strives for excellence and drives success
Knowledge of Identity and Access Management and other security tools and best practices Created
Understanding of directory services (Active Directory, LDAP, eDirectory) Knowledge of Federation, SSO, SAML, Oauth, PKI and Identity Management Experiencing in Cloud and Vendor Management security processes
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Preferred
Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (CISSP-ISSAP)
Bachelor's degree in computer science or other technical/scientific discipline. At least seven (7) years related work experience including five (5) years of experience as a Security Architect and two (2) years' experience in a dedicated information security role at a senior level. Aforementioned work experience must also include five years administering systems or applications and technologies.
