POSITION SUMMARY: The Application Programmer/Analyst 3 - Oracle ERP develops, configures, codes, tests, and debugs complex new software, enhancements to existing proprietary software or purchased software packages. In conjunction with functional users and IT Business Systems personnel, the Application Programmer/Analyst 3 - Oracle ERP with the design and documentation of the company's application software environment and regularly provides guidance and training to less experienced programmer/analysts. The Application Programmer/Analyst 3 - Oracle ERP is also responsible for leading application development projects of a very high complexity.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares detailed technical specifications from which complex programs will be written or configured.

• Writes high quality code according to specifications.

• Performs code reviews.

• Follows all required Company policies and practices relating to the System Development Life Cycle.

• Assists others in defining application system scope and objectives through research and fact finding.

• Provides Tier 3 support and resolution of open IT issues escalated by IT Customer Support.

• Develops project plans for application software implementation activities of medium to high level of complexity.

• Maintains strong vendor relationships to resolve problems and coordinate the delivery of IT products and services.

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 years of experience with Oracle ERP applications such as procurement, Finance, Enterprise asset mgmt. Oracle Field Services, and supply chain.

• 2 years of experience leading development initiatives.

• Proficient using BI publisher and Data models.

• Proficient in developing integrations using OIC.

• Experience with Oracle VBCS and creating custom PAAS extension.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 5 years of programming experience using BI publisher and data models with Oracle ERP application

• Minimum of 2 years of experience developing and using OIC integrations with the Oracle OCI framework

• Experience with interactive and batch processing and FTP concepts and automation
