Our Corporate Technology team relies on smart, driven people like you to develop applications and provide tech support for all our corporate functions across our network. Your efforts will touch lives all over the financial spectrum and across all our divisions: Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and within the Corporate Administrative Office. You'll be part of a team specifically built to meet and exceed our evolving technology needs, as well as our technology controls agenda.

As a member of our Software Engineering Group you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You'll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. You'll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what's being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. And best of all, you'll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Understanding of architecture and design across application, web, and database systems

  • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets

  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals

  • Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages

  • Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement

  • Responsible for enhancing, implementing, and configuration of vendor tax management software for the firm

  • Work with stakeholders on delivery status updates, establishing prioritization, and issue escalation

  • Experience with Oracle Database or SQL Server, stored procedures, and SQL queries

  • Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures

  • Experience delivering products across multiple releases

  • College degree in related technical or business area, specialized training and/or equivalent work experience

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Global tax subject matter expertise a plus

What You Will Do: * Design and develop automation and testing tools across the entire development stack * Build and maintain automation frameworks * Optimize system performance, availability and scalability * Troubleshoot source code management and deployment issues * Create and maintain documentation on configuration, troubleshooting, design etc. * Participate in a 24×7 on-call rotation as scheduled and must perform after hours' support * Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations Basic Qualifications: * 2-3 Years Experience with 1 or more scripting with languages such as PowerShell, Python or Bash * Ability to automate normal, repetitive system administration tasks. (Bash, shell, powershell scripting - preferred but not limited to) * Experience using a variety of open source technologies and tools (AWS, Azure, GCloud) * Familiarity with Cloud application management (Github, Ansible, Jenkins, GSuite, Slack, Atlassian Suite, ServiceNow) * Containers and Container Services (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm) Preferred Qualifications: * B.S. degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent work experience) * Two years previous experience in development and operations, or related IT, computer, or operations field * Previous experience with software development, infrastructure development, or development and operations * Experience with Linux infrastructures, database SQL (MS SQL), CI/CD tools, scripting such as JavaScript, PHP, Python, Perl, Ruby, .NET, Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, Agile workflow methodologies * Extensive knowledge and experience with continuous integration/deployment technologies and tools * Ability and demonstrated talent in avoiding or minimizing business impact despite existing technical challenges. * Ability to quickly learn and train on new or unfamiliar technology * Experience in documentation as well as creating and maintaining SOPs, maintenance plans, systems diagrams, platform and configuration standards, etc * 2+ years System Engineering experience with Windows Server (2012R2/2016) & Linux (CentOS/RedHat, Ubuntu) or associated technology support What We Offer: Our teams are composed of industry experts, top scientists, and talented engineers.
