This position reports to the National Accounts Operations Group, but will work closely with National Account Managers, National Account Program Manager, Field Managers, Project Managers, Applications Engineers and the customer. There are no direct reports to this position.

May need to direct/coordinate activities of Service Technicians, Subcontractors, or

others assigned to jobs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain security system drawings utilizing AutoCAD.

  • Monitor and report drawing progress and planned objectives, recommending

modifications as necessary to the customer, Project Manager and direct Supervisor

  • Attend customer meetings to understand project requirements and goals.

  • Works with Customer IT department for any IT related issues.

  • Create, place, follow up on Service tickets for the customer as backup to primary Service Coordinator.

  • May need to perform surveys and fill out progress reports for Customer, NAM, NAPM.

  • Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned by supervisors.

  • Must have the ability to remain positive, constructive, and productive under conditions of urgency, ambiguity, and uncertainty (e.g., shifting priorities, and crises).

  • Remains calm and constructive when faced with angry, frustrated, or otherwise emotional customers or others.

  • Recognizes relationships among issues, problems, or other factors (e.g., the situation, customer, equipment involved).

  • Makes sound decisions; exercises good judgment (e.g., decisions are logical and lead to substantive, meaningful progress on issues or problems).

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience with AutoCAD software (certified training preferred)
  • Skills or experience with personal computers, including electronic E-mail, personal

scheduling, word processing and electronic spreadsheet skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills required

  • Ability to produce in an unstructured work environment

  • Some Project Management skills

  • Strong interpersonal, communication skills

  • Good decision making abilities

  • Analytical and problem solving skills

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years AutoCAD software experience

  • Minimum 1 year security system drawings experience

  • High School Diploma/GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, drafting or computer systems preferred, but not required.

  • Must be able to manipulate a computer keyboard.

  • Must be able to verbally communicate via telephone.

  • Must be able to use public transportation for business travel.
