Responsible for oversight on design and implementation of products assigned to their team. Still needs to think things through solution capabilities. This means they can take user stories and new features from idea to production.

Our Discover Salesforce family consists of autonomous product teams responsible for designing, developing multiple process for sales, operations and marketing needs, implementing cutting-edge CRM solutions. Looking for a Salesforce technical engineer responsible for the build and automation of different processes to help our customer succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, program, test, and deploy new user stories and features with high quality (security, reliability, operations) to production

  • Tends to Associate Application Engineers by providing learning tasks as well as work related tasks, directs the work of Senior Associate Application Engineers, and helps them continue to grow

  • Achieves team commitments (and influence others to do the same) by using informal leadership & highly developed communication skills

  • Has an oversight on design decisions and guides team to achieve key results for products assigned to them

  • Remediates issues using engineering principles and creates proactive design solutions for potential failures

  • Contributes to and leads technology communities at Discover

  • Experience in Administration, Configuration, Implementation, testing and Support of salesforce.com solutions.

  • Documents detail level design specifications and code changes

  • Maintains working knowledge of Salesforce.com new capabilities and trends. Builds design and implement solutions for integration capabilities using Boomi or Mulesoft.

Skills:

  • Experience in Salesforce.com and Force.com platform, Data Management and Design, Lightning Web components, Automation flows, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Salesforce Package deployment models.

  • Salesforce certified 4x

  • Development experience in building integrations using Dell Boomi

  • Experience in developing integration processes using different connectors, logical steps and message steps.

  • Experience in Salesforce Security, Triggers and Platform events, Restful Apex services and API.

  • Good understanding and experience with below skills

  • UI / object configuration (internal)- objects, data model, custom fields, page layouts

  • Declarative process automation - workflow, process builder, flow

  • Customization and Custom UI - Apex classes, Batch classes, VF pages and Lightening Web Components.

  • Integration - web services, API based integration, SFDC bulk load API, integration with middleware

  • Reporting / Dashboards / Admin / deployments / release management/Debugging skills

  • Salesforce Security model

  • Experience in Data Conversion/Data Loading with SOQL, Data Loader, Workbench

  • Expertise in REST and API management, JSON and webservices

  • In-depth knowledge on Salesforce.com Lightning (Connect, App Builder, Component framework) and experience in using Salesforce API

  • Optimize business process and integrate business process across different systems and applications.

  • Good knowledge with Agile, Scrum methodology.

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here's what we need from you:

  • Bachelors
  • Computer Science
  • 3+ Years
  • Information Technology, (Software) Engineering, or related
  • Internal applicants only: technical proficiency rating of competent on the Dreyfus engineering scale

Preferred Qualifications

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Knowledge on DevOps and CI/CD tools

  • Knowledge on leveraging Einstein AI for predictive insights.

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $86,500.00 to $146,100.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
