Primary Objective: To provide pre-sales technical support and leadership to our sales team and customer base. To translate customer requirements into the proper technical solution. To serve as a technical resource on MTS' testing applications and product solutions.

Major Areas of Accountability:

  • Gather information to thoroughly understand the customer's technical requirements, specifications, and needs.

  • Work with the prospect to define their technical problems and objectives

  • Converts prospect's needs into technical specifications and requirements.

  • Leads development of the MTS solution to meet the customer's requirements.

  • Create and propose solutions demonstrating MTS' value to the prospective customer.

  • Ensures conceptual design, feasibility assessments, cost estimate, and other elements of the proposed solution are well-understood and completed in a timely manner.

  • Conducts demonstrations when needed to help the prospective customer understand the proposed solution.

  • Conducts risk analysis, develops risk mitigation plan, and communicates appropriately.

  • Establish technical credibility with the prospective customer.

  • Plan and conduct effective customer presentations.

  • Provide input on pricing and sales strategy based on market knowledge.

  • Participate in design reviews with the customer to finalize all details.

  • Assist in conceiving and implementing marketing tools/techniques (brochures, video, trade shows, etc.) used to promote products and capabilities.

  • Participates in professional societies and committees to stay informed of latest testing trends, to build MTS industry knowledge and to influence testing standards.
