Designs complex carborne signaling application solutions by applying and adapting Alstom Carborne products and following related company/customer requirements, standards, and specifications.
Develops material lists and sources components within the contract requirements.
Assists V&V in creating static and dynamic field test procedures.
Travel to the customer site to assist T&C in performing field test and commissioning of systems.
Assist senior engineers in creating subsystem requirement specifications and architectures for Carborne solutions.
Assists system engineers in developing and implementing interfaces to Carborne equipment.
Leads troubleshooting efforts in the factory and field.
Acts as interface between product development and project engineering.
Contributes to schedule and budget for Carborne application work as required.
Maintains application design artifacts in their area of responsibility, utilizing Alstom Configuration and Documentation Management Standards
Participates in technical discussions directly with customer and represents/protects the company interests.
Interfaces with internal/external contacts to include vendors, subcontractors and prime contractors on technical matters.
Providing application input for CRs during change control board meetings.
