In San Jose, California, Hermes Microvision, Inc. seeks an Application Engineer to provide application support defect inspection tools and defect review of using E-beam defect inspection tools during wafer fabrication process. Job duties include:

Work with R&D team to develop and implement the recipe for defect inspection/classifications, and automatic defect reviews of new defect inspection tools; implement and optimize the recipe and monitor the new system acceptance process; write and maintain the technical documentation including datasheet, application notes, design manuals to support the customized use of inspection tools, product validation, and characterization; perform the failure mode analysis and diagnosis for system, and escalate the tool and application issues to R&D team; perform system maintenance; verify the system compliance to product specifications; and document the issues and work with R&D team to in identifying the root cause of issues and potential design or application solutions. MS degree in Chemical Engineering/Material Engineering or related plus 1yr experience or related. Apply online at

In this position, you will be responsible for supporting sales and customers on Supermircro products.
