  • Works closely with the Account Managers, providing technical pre-sales support to their accounts

  • Supports customer meetings and product presentations, demonstrations and evaluations

  • Seek professional and technical growth through participation in self-paced and instructor led training opportunities

  • Interface with the Technical Support, HW Development and Marketing teams as required

  • Identify a customer's CAE requirements, current solutions and processes

  • Show HW value through product workflows, features and benefits via PowerPoint and hands-on demonstrations

  • Seek the required support from within the US, the AMER region and worldwide Technical Operations and HW Development teams to execute advanced PoC and benchmarking activities

  • Perform training in classroom or via web meetings

  • Participate in post-sales technical support activities to maintain the quality of support and help the expand HW knowledge

  • Contribute to the development of technical papers to increase collective knowledge and drive future business

Required Skills:

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Master's preferred.

Experience with CAE tools like HyperMesh/Optistruct/Inspire

Exposure to linear and non linear structural analysis is required

Experience with CAE tools beyond classroom courses preferred

Ability to collaborate with all levels of technical users and management.

Aptitude for solving engineering problems.

Willingness to travel throughout region as required (~25%).

Good communication and presentation skills (Oral and Written).

Energetic and strong interpersonal skills.

U.S. Person required due to Government contract work.

Previous exposure to Nastran, Abaqus or Ansys, a strong plus.

Programming exposure in Python,C++, TCL/TK is a plus

VIEW JOBS 3/21/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-06-19T00:00 Work Unit DescriptionWork Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range FTE: 1.0, Full Time Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm Salary Range: $77,372.88 - $120,678.22 Annually Location: Portland, OR (Downtown) Job Type: AFSCME, Union Represented Functions/Duties of Position This position is a member of the Healthcare Professional Service Applications team and is responsible for the selection, implementation, support and maintenance of Departmental Healthcare Information Systems.  The departments include, but are not limited to, Laboratory, Radiology, Imaging, Pharmacy, Emergency Department, Transplant, Pyxis MedStation, Cardiovascular Services, Respiratory Care, Rehab Services, Surgery, Medical Records, Poison Control, Food & Nutrition, Patient Transportation, Radiation Therapy, Pre Admit Tracking, and Bed Tracking.   This position is responsible for supporting third party applications. Responsibilities include project management, writing system specifications, writing requests for proposals, writing request for information, writing cost benefit analysis, vendor selection, contract negotiation, complete system integration, system implementation, system to system interfaces, system security and HIPAA and other regulatory requirements, and system documentation.   This position is a critical business partner with the department, helping with strategic planning and making sure the department understands what resources are required to implement and support a Healthcare Information System.  This position also provides the business analysis to integrate new systems into a working patient care environment.  This position is responsible for managing multiple simultaneous projects and coordinating resources between the Vendor, ITG and the Customer for activities associated with all projects related to the healthcare information systems supported by this team.  This position is responsible for assigning tasks to project team members and monitoring their progress throughout the project life cycle.  This position is the primary support person for multiple applications and is responsible for detailed technical analysis and support for these applications identified in the team application database and provides secondary support for over 200 Healthcare Applications on a 24/7 post implementation support model.  This position must be able to be available for 24x7 on-call support and have broad knowledge of systems and departmental workflow for applications in team application database. Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field and six years work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments; OR Associates degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field and seven years work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments; OR Eight years work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments; OR Equivalent combination of education and experience where one year of experience will be substituted for an Associates degree and two years of experience will be substituted for a Bachelors degree Two or more years of paid work experience as a Systems/Application Analyst or Application Administrator. Experience: * Successful candidates must have experience and working knowledge in operating system software, relational and/or hierarchical databases, and technical application support for administrative and clinical systems * Experience in the analysis and design of systems and experience * Experience in developing specifications for system to system interfaces. * Successful clients must have experience in managing multiple projects * Experience in managing complex customer relationships in an enterprise setting Job Related Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Strong organizational skills * Strong Project Management skills, including demonstrated management of successful projects from scheduling, design, testing, and implementation.  * Proven Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle.
