Job Title: Application Development Manager

Job Overview:
The Application Development Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the development, implementation, and support of the company's Parts business application environment.
The Manager creates and maintains platform strategies to support evolving business requirements.
The Manager builds and strengthens relations with business customers, and other departments and develops the team to meet new technical and functional requirements.
The Manager leads a team of eight full-time IT professionals and a variety of contractors in accomplishing the team's critical mission.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise the ASI/AS400 core system team; including planning, assigning, and monitoring work activities, and ensure proper training, development, and skills
Manage daily support, maintenance, and problem resolution across the application portfolio
Provide leadership for application projects and system enhancement requests that deliver software solutions that meet customer requirements
Lead the selection, onboarding, and management of our consulting staff
Develop and maintain an ongoing application portfolio roadmap
Ensure systems are kept up to date and secure and all compliance activities are well managed
Embody and promote the company's values of Teamwork, Continuous Improvement, Commitment, Openness, and Learning
Support and grow the company's Agile Development process and mindset and provide day-to-day agile leadership for the team.
Establish goals and report on Key Performance Indicators
Collaborate with Stakeholders to align platform services with strategic business needs
Provide technical leadership to ensure scalability of core platforms that include a combination of AS400 solutions and custom-developed applications
Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with internal customers, vendors, ITD departments, and others
Coordinate or prepare annual capital and operating budgets required for planning and expense control
Job Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field required
Master's degree in business or technology is desirable
3+ years of management experience required
7+ years of experience in systems development and implementation required
Strong Leadership skills and critical problem-solving skills
Demonstrated leadership with the ability to function independently and set direction for the company's Parts IT teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Excellent organization and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of the following technologies is a plus:

Cobol
SQL
Integration Solutions (API's)
Warehouse Management Solutions
AWS/Snowflake experience
Web technologies
