Cigna is seeking an Application Development Advisor to join the GA Operations Digital L2 team. They will have primary accountability for all production activities related to Digital applications including myCigna Portal, myCigna Mobile, Cigna Home Delivery Pharmacy (CHDP), Drug Price Quote Tool (DPQT), PDL Viewer, Cigna Health Assessment, Brand Portal, Media Bin, Cigna Easy Choice Tool (CECT), Envoy Mobile, Envoy Client Portal, Cigna Virtual Health (CVH), MENA, Centricity, Newsroom, Cigna.com Microsites, Livesite Content Services (LSCS), Content Hub, and Teamsite in the Production environment. They will function as a bridge to the delivery teams, driving efficiencies, quick turn around and quality resolution of production defects that are impacting GSG internal and external customers. The resource will also provide an on call support for critical issues that may occur outside of regular business hours.
Responsibilities include the following:
Monitors and reviews incidents reported by business teams.
Provides hands-on technical Tier 1 R&A and communicates to the case opener if additional information is required or if a solution is identified.
Facilitates bridge calls in the event of critical job failures in production.
Assigns or escalates reporting defects to the delivery team and sees cases through completion.
Collaborates with Business and Delivery teams to meet standard SLA for resolving production defects.
Initiates Change Management tickets as needed for reporting change orders and/or releases.
May participate in the delivery team's daily standup meetings to coordinate production issues as well as to get information on upcoming reporting deliverables that may impact ongoing support.
Maintains process and troubleshooting documentation to be utilized by both US-based and offshore Production Support resources.
May be assigned to special projects that drive continuous improvement of services and production support processes.
A solid of understanding of relational database management systems
A minimum of six months of experience working with the AWS cloud in any capacity
A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and beyond. Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced
Strong technical knowledge of relational databases, batch scripting and SSIS technologies.
Strong working knowledge of ESP Workstation and its primary utilities to effectively monitor and troubleshoot issues with scheduled reporting jobs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in order to efficiently collaborate with cross functional teams.
Experience in a production support capacity.
Self-motivated, quick learner and excellent customer service skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
Experience in Healthcare and/or Payroll with an understanding of HIPAA transaction sets and deductions a plus.
Exceptional verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Candidate must possess skills related to qualitative and quantitative data analysis and tools generation; ability to take unrelated data sources and define/combine to meet information requirements for IT and Business evaluation and decision-making processes
