The Software Engineering team is growing and is looking for a Senior Application Developers to join our Software Engineering team and deliver solutions that make a difference. As a member of the team, you will contribute on the development and launch of new applications and product enhancements for a variety of projects in the Microsoft ecosystem. You will also serve as an escalation point in providing tier 3 support for Dynamics and PowerPlatform application supporting COVID Mass Vaccination business capabilities.

The work associated with this position will be performed remotely, at least through July 5, 2021 in compliance with

King County'stelecommuting mandate. Employees will be provided with a County issued laptop and must maintain a workspace with an internet connection where they can reliably perform work and remain available and responsive during scheduled work hours. Employees must reside in WA state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements. There will be situations where the employee is required to report to a County worksite. Please note that when an employee conducts work that is likely to bring them in contact with another individual, safety precautions are required by the department in alignment with the

Public Health Directive from the Seattle & King County Public Health Officer.

Work Schedule

The normal workweek for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Alternative work schedules may be considered. This position is not eligible for overtime pay.

Job Duties

  • Develop software solutions using Microsoft Power platform with Microsoft Visual Studio

  • Develop integrations and custom solutions utilizing API's and SDK's

  • Modernize, implement updates, diagnose and fix bugs in legacy software

  • Develop and maintain documentation for applications and systems, maintain the code base in Azure DevOps

  • Develop web-based applications using React and other modern JavaScript frameworks

  • Write end-user documentation and/or provide application-specific training to end users, as needed

  • Keep up to date with latest technology trends applicable to software development; share information and collaborate with peers

  • Other duties as assigned

Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field) OR an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • 2+ years of professional experience working within the Microsoft development stack using several of the following technologies: Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, Microsoft ASP.NET MVC, Microsoft ASP.NET WebAPI, .Net Core, Microsoft Entity Framework 6+, AJAX, HTML, JavaScript, React / Angular frameworks and CSS
  • Familiarity with cloud integration and Microsoft Azure
  • App Service, Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Functions.
  • Experience in relational and non-relational data storage designs

  • Agile and DevOps experience

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Strong analytical and strategic skills; ability to synthesize complex information and influence decision makers turning strategy into action

Desirable Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Microsoft Power Platform (Dynamics)
  • Prior experience in public sector and/or a desire to work in public service

This is an engineering position with an opportunity to be on the forefront of technical complexity driving major transformation for Channel Development, US Licensed Stores, and our Global Licensed Stores. As a Salesforce Developer, you will lead the development and continuous improvement of Starbucks' global Salesforce orgs spanning products such as Sales Cloud, B2B Commerce, Experience Cloud, and others. You will work with business and technical partners across the company to maximize the benefits of the Salesforce platform, with a focus on elevating the user experience. You'll design, build, and maintain highly effective tools used by partners (employees) and customers worldwide. You'll have excellent technical and communication skills, will proactively work with technical and operational partners (employees) to translate business opportunities into well-architected Salesforce solutions. This role is a software development role with leadership components exercising strong customer service and a continuous improvement mindset to continually deliver enhanced capabilities elevating the user experience. Summary of Key Responsibilities * Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: * Technical Design and Implementation * Collaborates in planning, decomposing, estimating, scheduling, prioritization, and resource allocation exercises.
