Deliver technical solutions for key stakeholders' business requirements by analyzing business needs, developing effective applications, conducting user acceptance testing and troubleshooting errors to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of developed programs. This role is for developing enhancements, features, and bug fixes to modernize our applications. We use Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, GIT, and C#, .Net for our development tools (Microsoft stack). We use Oracle as our main database technology, ESRI for our mapping applications. We develop apps for Windows (WPF), Mobile (Xamarin, MAUI), and Web (React, WebAPI) for Policy Holders, Agents, Adjusters, and other internal staff.
The Opportunity
This opportunity is to deliver technical solutions for key stakeholders' business requirements by analyzing business needs, developing effective applications, conducting user acceptance testing and troubleshooting errors to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of developed programs. This role is for developing enhancements, features, and bug fixes in our releasing code. We use Visual Studio, TFS, and C#, .Net for our development tools (Microsoft stack). We use Oracle as our main database technology, ESRI for our mapping applications. We develop apps for Windows (WPF), Mobile (Xamarin), and Web (React, WebAPI) for Policy Holders, Agents, Adjusters, and other internal staff.
Primary Responsibilities
Deliver effective applications for business use by analyzing business requirements and consulting with key stakeholders to clarify and ensure program specifications and technical solutions align with business needs
Build applications by translating specifications into programming language and forecasting solutions to anticipated problems to ensure effectiveness of programs for business use
Foster a thorough approach to finalizing developed applications by participating in testing of functionality and analyzing sample data-sets to ensure accuracy of program output and support the achievement of quality assurance and key stakeholder standards
Collaborate with internal stakeholders by participating in design and code reviews and escalating issues to troubleshoot errors and gaps, refine processes and technical standards and ensure continual effectiveness of team deliverables
Provide accurate record-keeping by writing detailed documentation for the operation of programs to facilitate user understanding of application functioning
Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and influencing others to reward performance and value "can do" people, accountability, diversity and inclusion, flexibility, continuous improvement, collaboration, creativity and fun
Required Education
Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Preferred Education
Preferred Experience
Experience in the insurance industry
At least 2 years of experience in .NET 6 or later
Experience developing and deploying applications with Containers
Preferred Knowledge
Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL
Working knowledge of gRPC and WebAPI service
Working knowledge of continuous integration and delivery model
Working knowledge of software development lifecycle and relevant milestones
Working knowledge of MVVM

Compensation
Base pay offered will vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location and business needs
Annual Salary Range: $68,000 - $104,000

Annual Salary Range: $75,000 - $115,000
CA (Remote, Irvine and Woodland), Greenwood Village CO, CT, Chicago IL, MA, MD, NY (Remote), RI, Houston TX and WA
Annual Salary Range: $85,000 - $131,000
