Role: Application Developer
Role Description: The Application Developer
Provide technical and functional support to Rockwell MES applications (PMX, FTPS, FTPC)
Knowledge on master recipe authoring, building blocks development, integration, and system configuration using FTPS MES system
Exposure to common integration tools and transactions (ERP, Automation) using industry preferred tools and technologies (Middleware, MuleSoft, Webservices)
Knowledge of S88 model, S95 mode, GxPs, GAMPS, 21CFR part 11 etc.
Ability to trouble shoot and identify resolution during major events.
Good knowledge of java scripting (pnuts) and relational database management (SQL) is strongly desirable
Experience in L2 or L3 production support, supporting 24/7 manufacturing systems
Knowledge of ITIL process (incident/problem/change management/service request)
Ability to handle Red Team Calls, understand the business needs and come up with Continuous Improvements.
Average day in the life of this role:
Provide day-to-day support to customer issues via defined incident and problem management guidelines
Ensure continuous interaction with the customer to make sure that area of concern is addressed and worked upon for improved service levels
Escalate/facilitate with Solution Team and Vendor for resolution to any faults/issues discovered within MES system and background infrastructure, and for performing root cause analysis
Monitor & respond to incoming and open tickets, alerts, and system health.
Update status of unresolved tickets
Collaborate with different teams in performing periodic maintenance, responding to planned/unplanned outage, and addressing system resolution
Participate in other incident, problem, configuration, and knowledge management activities as required to support customer requests and cross-functional support teams
Along with the above, Rockwell FTPS/FTPC (FactoryTalk PharmaSuite and FTPC stands for FactoryTalk) and tools used in the IT service management for application support.
Industry experience needed: MES experience is mandatory and needed for this role. Industry experience enables efficiency and effectiveness in identifying and approaching problems, communicating issues, and addressing/implementing resolution steps.
Primary Skill Set for this Role:
Rockwell FTPC and/or FTPS experience
ITIL (IT Service Management) - Service Request, Incident, Problem, and Configuration Management to handle Level 2 or Level 3 production system support
S88 model, S95 model, and GxPs
Java scripting (pnuts)
Relational database management (SQL)
Some knowledge of ERP and Automation integration with MES
Web services, MuleSoft
This is a client facing role that requires prior experience servicing customers, clients, or internal support where strong communication skills are utilized to understand and translate customer needs to a team.
Candidate will need to be onsite, but given the COVID situation the resource can be remote until Project/Client uplifts the restriction to WFH.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 8+ years
Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses
