About the Position:

The Application Developer III works with the development teams in a fast-paced environment to develop and implement custom solutions, and purposefully extend existing solutions, to meet defined business requirements for VMS BioMarketing customers. Out-of-the-box thinking and prototyping are balanced with full SDLC engagement to meet business objectives quickly and effectively. The Application Developer III takes an active hand in creating DevOps, refining team processes, establishing coding standards, and designing application architecture.

Essential Functions:

  • Support and enhance existing applications and vendor software

  • Direct and participate in the troubleshooting and resolution of all level of application problems

  • Assist in the architectural design of new applications and extensions to existing software

  • Oversee and assist in testing efforts

  • Assist with establishing coding standards and conduct code reviews to enforce those standards

  • Participate in the migration and deployment of codesets and affiliated applications

  • Direct and participate in the troubleshooting and resolution of all level of application defects

  • Build knowledge of the VMS environment and all aspects of our software products

  • Work inside the VMS SDLC, and help to craft and enforce its gated processes

  • Use tools and programming languages, including but not limited to C#, HTML, Javascript, HTML5, CSS, SQL Server Management Studio, continual integration or build management systems, APEX, Visualforce, migration tools, SOQL

  • Follow required security and compliance guidelines

Required Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent program in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of related experience

Required Skills:

  • Mastery of Object Oriented design and practices

  • Data Modeling and security

  • Salesforce app customization

  • Software/Application experience: ASP.NET MVC / Web API, Entity Framework, LINQ, Visual Studio, IIS, SQL Server Management Studio, Apex, Lightning framework, Visualforce

  • Mastery of web coding languages, libraries, and platforms such as .NET MVC, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, others

  • Experience with an MV* JS libraries for creating single page applications, such as Angular, Angular 2, Ember, Knockout, RequireJS

  • Experienced with RESTful / SOAP web services

  • Expertise with code repository technologies such as Git, Azure DevOps, or equivalent

  • Experienced with cloud-based applications, microservices architecture, and cloud hosting

  • Experience with SQL-based reporting, data warehouse design, and OLAP cubes is considered a plus

  • Experienced with all aspects of the software development lifecycle

  • Ability to thoroughly troubleshoot issues submitted by end users

  • Ability to clearly communicate highly technical information to both internal teams and customers

  • Highly adaptable, flexible, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

  • Detail oriented, highly accurate, and strong organizational and customer service skills

What Youll Be Doing: As a Mobile Application Developer, you are vitally important to the design and functionality of our applications in RED. This individual is focused on the overall look of the user interface and know exactly how the program is laid out. This role is most concerned with the flow of the technology, ensuring that there are no stumbling blocks. This person strives for perfection and understands continuous improvement processes. Specific duties include but are not limited to: * Work as part of a small team to build React Native IOS and Android applications. * Architect, build and maintain excellent quality React Native applications with clean code. * Implement modern, smooth animations and transitions that provide an excellent user experience. * Create UI Screen and Modules in both IOS and Android and integrate with React Native application. * Integrate with third-party API's. * Create software code, unit tests and assist with encoding, testing, debugging, and documentation. * Release applications to IOS and Google Play stores. * Working on mobile app development using Agile Scrum process. Our Ideal Candidate Is/Has: * College Degree or equivalent work experience. * 2+ years of professional experience working in mobile application development using Xamarin. * Has successfully published an application to Google Play stores and Apple. * Cross platform development with React Native is a plus. * Understanding Android/IOS SDK and languages like switch and Objective C. * Experience with consuming RESTful services. * Experience working on relational databases preferred. * Familiarity with agile software development and unit testing. * Can effectively communicate a vision to technical and non-technical people. * Experience working in a team-oriented fast paced, distributed and collaborative environment. * Excellent troubleshooting skills, self-motivated, results-driven and well organized. * A self-motivated leader who is results driven, and media or technology enthusiast.
