DescriptionApex Systems is looking for an application developer for one of clients in Waverly, IA.

Job Description:
1. Review and understand the requirements and technical specifications as part of a solution2.

Analyze system design and develop coding strategy/configuration approach of the solution3. Develop application code or configure packaged solution following the requirements, technical specifications and system design4. Follow corporate coding standards and guidelines to include security, architecture and data5.

Work with other developers, designers, and architects to make sure that the configuration and custom components meet application requirements and performance goals6. Create unit test cases, execute unit and component integration tests and document results7. Resolve problems in code or configurations8.

Document solution, including program logic, procedures, implementation/deployment instructions and technical recovery plans and ensure transition to functional support9. Participate in handoff of the application or technical architecture components to the testers to ensure clear and complete understanding of the application10. Ensure appropriate sign-offs, backout plans and audit controls (versioning) are in place for deployments to production11.

Perform and execute deployment tasks12. Responsible for coordination and execution of design reviews

Job Requirements:
i College degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Management Information Systemsi Job experience equivalent: 12 months IT application development experiencei Demonstrated working knowledge of the entire Software Development Lifecyclei Proven ability to clearly and effectively communicate business and technical information, both verbally and in writing.Within the last 2 years:- 12 months coding and unit testing experience in technical skill set required for role (i.e. VB.Net, ASP.Net, SOA, SQL Server, VB, COBOL, systems integration, etc.)- 6 months engagement experience with at least one of the following skills: requirements analysis, technical specification development, task planning and tracking, or providing technical leadership to at least one other developerEEO EmployerApex is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.

Our Bremwood Residential Treatment Center in Waverly has a long history of serving trauma-impacted kids in Iowa. LSI is looking for a compassionate, dedicated full-time Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) to empower these children toward success. This position is offering a sign-on bonus up to $500. Duties Full time Therapist/Counselor with an emphasis in substance abuse counseling (CADC preferred) will provide mental health assessments; group, individual and family therapy; case consultation to caseworkers, youth specialists and other Bremwood personnel; and treatment and discharge planning and coordination. You can bring hope and healing to children on campus and their families by providing therapy and counseling assessments.
