Application Consultant- Music (Rights And Royalties)

As an Applications Consultant with Vistex, you will be responsible for providing technical and business service and support to Vistex's Rights and Royalty Management Suite, and collaborating closely with internal development teams. Applications Consultants will receive training in the Company's enterprise level rights and royalty management software solutions, developed for the Music industry. The role reports to the Manager, Music based in the company's Los Angeles, CA office.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with providing direct client technical service and support for software products and services via phone, email, and on-site engagement, including logging new items and ongoing correspondence, diagnosing, resolving, and escalating issues when required.

• Actively test and participate in product quality assurance activities; provide feedback to development teams on product performance, stability, quality, and supportability.

• Produce clear, concise functional specifications, data flows and test specifications from which the development teams will develop new products, product enhancements and solutions.

• Develop system, support, and training documentation for use internally and with clients/end-users.

• Develop and maintain in-depth technical, product functionality and operational knowledge of the Vistex contract management systems.

• Train clients and colleagues in the Vistex software.

• Gather and document client requirements for new functionality, features and/or interfaces.

• Use case management tools to document problems, to provide updates (internally and to clients), and to record resolutions

• Other duties as directed or required.

The compensation for this position ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 annually. Base pay will vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's location, job-related knowledge, skills and work experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus. Degree: Bachelors

Experience

• Exemplary client-facing, technical and business service and support skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively develop and maintain client relationships.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven capabilities interacting professionally with all levels of an organization - i.e. executives, technical teams and subject matter experts, both internally and externally.

• Proven knowledge of software development, QA, and implementation methodologies.

• Hands-on experience implementing software products; ERP software/applications experience.

• Prior experience as an Applications Consultant/Business Analyst.

• Demonstrated willingness to learn and pitch in anywhere, as business needs demand.

• Enthusiastic, positive, can-do attitude.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks independently to meet deadlines and complete tasks in an accurate manner.

• Strong sense of ownership and accountability for work products and accountability.

• Advanced computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

• Experience implementing or supporting ERP software in the Music space.

• Experience with accounting/royalty participation software (preferably Counterpoint Suite products).
