This position works with the IT Service Management (ITSM) Solutions team and campus IT organizations to provide tracking of IT services. This position will maintain the current campus Remedy applications and integrations and will manage Remedy metrics using Jaspersoft BI.
The successful candidate will support existing Remedy functionality on time and to specifications as we transition to a new ITSM tool. The candidate will ensure that mission critical ITSM services and applications are operational and that campus applications maintain scalability and relevance to the user base. Experience with PHP, SQL, XML, Scripting, LDAP, AD and UNIX preferred for this position.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, math, or Engineering or related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution; or Bachelor's degree and some computer coursework from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience in business application consulting or development; or Associate's degree in Computer Programming and one year of experience in application consulting or development; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Essential Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Experience with providing technical support to customers. Remedy AR Server integration/development/maintenance/support experience.
ServiceNow platform experience is a plus. ITIL best practices experience. Platform as a Service (PaaS) delivery model - ServiceNow best practices.
Robust code commenting & documentation of workflow, API, & application behaviors for maintenance by other developers. Two years minimum of Service Desk application and/or service development experience in a help desk or similar high-volume environment.
