Under direct supervision, the Application Analyst II is responsible for working with other analysts and technical staff to conceptualize function and data structures, and create functional specifications to meet customer expectations. Responsible for coordinating between Information Technology and customers all aspects of information systems to ensure that existing and future systems facilitate, and enhance quality and regulatory requirements. Provide ongoing professional support for a designated suite of applications. This includes planning, implementing and organizing activities related to enterprise-wide application selection, deployment and optimization on multiple hardware platforms, operating systems and software environments. Responsible for providing hardware, software and application support.
Minimum Education and Experience:
3 years of relevant experience attributable to the application being supported
5 years of relevant experience attributable to the application being supported
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Healthcare applications experience - experience with EMR (preferably Epic)
Certification and/or training attributable to the application being supported within 6 months of hire, when available
Certification and/or training attributable to the application being supported
Special Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
Understanding of Bayhealth and user community in the application assigned area
Understanding of Population Health concepts and Bayhealth's goals to incorporated them into systematic solutions
The ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, and maintain issues lists
Strong communication and follow-up skills
The ability to probe for information about the underlying needs of the organization and user community, which directly influences how the system will be built
Strong organizational skills
The ability to communicate effectively with leadership and subject matter experts.
The ability and interest to learn the software and increase their knowledge over time
Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
