Full Time 40 hours Grade 054 Info Systems SMH



Provide application level support for multiple systems. May provide systems administration functions as well. Provides 2nd level support of applications and acts as a liaison with vendor support as needed. Provides input to design and cost of systems on request. May serve as the project leader on multiple projects and completes the required project management reports to plan, implement and control these various projects. Provides cross training to other members of the enterprise team.


Under minimal direction within Department guidelines and standards:


  • Makes assignments and does technical follow-up within team

  • Develops resource estimates for projects

  • Helps determine priorities with users for backlogged requests

  • Coordinates various steps within project identifying dependencies and impediments

  • Reports to management on progress/problems encountered with projects

  • Recommends alternatives to get around obstacles

  • Conducts technical walk-thru


  • Leads fact gathering effort with users and systems for fault isolation

  • Serves as primary technical resource for supported systems

  • Maintains continuous open communication with primary users

  • Leads and/or actively participates in application project meetings with users

  • Develops functional specifications for projects and/or delegates this functions to team members

  • Considers alternative approaches and recommends the "best" approach


  • Serves on committees and attends meetings as requested

  • Attends seminars & classes to gain technical and/or functional knowledge to aid Hospital's information needs

  • Follows all ISD administrative standards (such as, timely time sheet preparation, filling out time-off sheets, etc.)

  • Adheres and subscribes to the ISD Values as stated in the Values Statement


  • Bachelor's degree is related discipline such as Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Science or Engineering; and 3-4 years of related experience, preferably 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree preferred.


  • 5 - 7 years' experience in clinical and business applications analysis and support

  • Possesses knowledge of clinics, physician practices, and/or hospital operations.

  • Experience with SQL preferred.

  • Good understanding of Servers, Databases, Network. Experience with SQL preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail, ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems, and develop critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to lead meetings, prioritize, maintain issues lists and works to a project plan.

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent customer service skills, communication, team work and follow-up skills.

Research, identify and develop solutions to problems. Analyze business and user needs and document specifications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Construct, test and implement portions of the RO billing system. * Follow HIPAA, compliance, privacy, safety and confidentiality standards at all times. * Follow OSHA regulations, RadNet and site protocols, policies and procedures. * Build and maintain system tables. * Create system rules and mappings to insure data integrity. * Monitor charge life cycle and associated lists to identify issues or problems and notify the appropriate RO manager. * Monitor interface files for integrity and work with external systems personnel to rectify flawed files. * Perform mapping of patients and insurances, as needed as indicated by backlogs greater than 500 records * Work with others to analyze collected requirements, translate into business and technical information technology solutions and ensure that identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations. * Maintain security, integrity and business continuity controls and documents. * Provide excellent customer service to all Practices as well as others at the NSC.
