Provides Application Portfolio Analysis to define the best use of information technology to achieve desired outcomes of application services.
Leads application life cycle initiatives through analysis, documentation, client facilitation, critical thinking, and delivery.
Leads activities in key areas of application life cycle including application requests, application service improvements, and application decommissioning.
Leads discussions with application and business stakeholders to gain an understanding of application services.
Provides support and analysis to model the "as-is" and "to-be" application services, makes recommendations for improving the underlying business processes in support of the application portfolio as required.
Documents requirements and creation of process models, specifications, diagrams and charts to support application services.
Leads application services in identifying current and future needs and opportunities.
Provides analysis to define and document measurable business benefits and outcomes.
Leads the development and implementation of strategic and tactical plans and process re-engineering for the Applications group
Supports Application Service Catalog with working with developing the appropriate service level approach to achieve the desired business outcomes.
Works with vendor and managed service partners for solution for the new IT Service that meets the business requirements and achieves the desired business outcomes.
Provide feedback in the development, continuous improvement and maturity of the application standards.
Participates in various phases of the Project Life Cycle (PLC) to including testing, training, change management and go lives.
Assists with financial analysis of benefits, savings, costs, and integrations
Supports M&A integration activities in relation to application services including manages and assures the effective integration of the application(s).
Provides operational guidance to influence adherence to the IT organizational goals and objectives.
May ensure the integrity of electronic data, achieved by managing thorough analysis of vendors and their products.
Skills, Requirements, and Certifications
Bachelor's degree in related field, may substitute equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
4 years of Analysis experience including Healthcare experience (business processes and applications) preferred.
Ability to work with all levels of leadership.
Experience with process analysis and design.
Demonstrated task management skills in a complex, large healthcare enterprise including a proven ability to keep track of, prioritize and report status of multiple initiatives.
Possess strong customer service background.
Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to follow through on tasks.
Proven ability to work with changing requirements/priorities using internal and external resources.
Highly professional written and verbal communication skills
Experience with six-sigma, and/or project management methodology such as Agile is a plus.
Experience and knowledge of IT, Business Analysis, Quality, and Project Management industry standards, best practices and frameworks such as IIBA, PMI, Six Sigma, CMMI or COBIT is preferred.
