Midwife

Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for a Midwife to join the OB/GYN team at Piedmont Henry. This Advanced Practitioner will be working under the supervision of one Physician providing excellent patient care. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday day position practicing in an outpatient and inpatient setting.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with care of patients in the clinic

• Communicate patient condition changes to physician and coordinate care

• Interact with nursing staff, pharmacy, radiology and other service lines in hospital.

• This position may also include covering the service pager after hours occasionally.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have at least one-year of experience working as a Physician Assistant, Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM), or Nurse Practitioner in Women's Health and/or Oncology setting.

Minimum Qualifications

Masters, Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification

Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification

• -or--

Valid Georgia license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and be recognized by the Georgia Board of Nursing as a CNM.CNMs must be currently certified or pending certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).
