Position Title: APO Techno Functional Consultant
Location: Atlanta, GA
Reports to: Sr. Business Technical Manager - SAP
Contribute to the development, implementation and execution of the Plan to Ship process. Work with leadership in developing appropriate strategies, tactics and technology enablers for the Plan to Ship process.
Plan and Manage Type 2 projects (Optimization, Acquisitions, Divestures, Consolidations, Sub-system setups).
Mentors junior resources on the team as it relates to SAP as well as fundamental planning and execution processes.
Take on cross functional lead responsibilities for managing test cycles, managing the queues in Service Desk, managing data conversions and representing the Plan to Ship team in project status meetings.
Perform the necessary configuration to support the business requirements in APO.
Lead workshops and meetings to gain functional requirements from the business.
Develop functional specifications associated with system enhancements (WRICEF).
Evaluate, implement and support new developments / enhancements as well as optimize existing implementations.
Develop and execute unit-test and integration test scenarios.
Manage documentation (Process Design Documents, Work Step Instructions and Configuration / System) and training updates.
Work with other business process owners, end-users and project team members to effectively implement and support SAP on schedule.
Provide support (e.g., break/fix, how to expertise, enhancements, monitoring, testing) for business applications.
Manage employees tasks, work load and professional development

BPCs / SME's associated with process functions
SAP IT/Process Leads
Bachelors in related field, or equivalent experience
Work Experience Requirements:
3-5 years of solid technical SAP APO experience
High Degree of skill in APO SNP / DP design and configuration
Successful project implementation and support experience in a consumer products manufacturing and purchasing environment is desirable
Ability to create WRICEF objects and follow them from FSD to FSO (design, document, test, realization)
Proven successful track record on cross-functional team projects
Strong problem-solving skills with ability to build a business case for proposed solution
Good documentation, communications and training skills
Demonstrated ability to influence and foster collaborative relationships
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects
Demonstrated ability to manage, mentor and positively influence employee
Proficient in Supply Chain design and configuration
Ability to configure planning books and planning object structures
Ability to create new key figures, alerts,macros, planning profiles, selection profiles
Detailed understanding of SAP APO DP & APO BW solution (SCM 7.0)
Ability to modify and maintain APO BI related objects such as cubes, transfer rules, transfer structures
Must have deep knowledge and experience in Statistical Forecasting, Life Cycle Planning and Promotion Planning
Ability to tailor supply planning (SPRO)
Knowledge of Supply Planning PPMs / PDSs
Knowledge of Deployment / Transportation Load Builder
Clear understanding of APO concepts such transportation lanes, product master, PDS's, PIR integration, quota arrangements
Additional desirable planning knowledge include subcontracting, characteristics dependent planning and multi-resource planning
Knowledge of APO BADI's
